I want to buy a 1968 Pontiac Tempest CUSTOM with a 350 is the 350 motor the same as the chevy 350 small block?

Is the 350 in the TEMPEST a Pontiac motor or a Chevy motor I thought that Chevy owned Pontiac so why would they put a different motor in it?

Wow I can't believe some of those answers.

DVSJ... Yes the camaro and firebird shared the same platform but it wasnt untill 1982 that they shared the same engine family.

The 1st gen, and all of the second gen (1967-81) The camaro had it's line of engines (chevy) and the firebird had it's line (pont.)

Nothing was even close to the same engine wise.

Next the pont. transmission won't even bolt to the chevy engine.

For the v8's they are 2 trans bolt patterns.. One called chevy

Other one called B-O-P which means buick, olds, pont.

The pont. 350 is VERY diff from the chevy 350.. Nothing on the two will interchange.

Lets see chevy had two block size designs.. The small block and the big block..

Pont only had a med. sized block.. There 326 and 455 was built on the same block size unlike chevy.

Chevy 262-400 was small block..
Chevy also had an early big block of 348 cid.

Then common big blocks from 396-502 cid.

Chevy only owns chevy..

GM owns and makes GMC, chevy, pont, olds, buick, caddy, geo, saturn, hummer, etc

Through the 60's, 70's, and early 80's everyone of GM's car line had it's own engine plant.

So the old 307 is nothing like the chevy 307, pont 350 is nothing like the chevy 350, etc etc.

EWCF - More Online Bunk?

EWCF

- More Online Bunk? Yes or No?

Let's see...what can I say that hasn't already been said? I promised myself that I would not 'sugar-coat' it; I'd pull no punches writing this. And I will keep that promise.

If you're like me, you want to believe the best of people; that they have ethics and adhere to them.

Intrigued by a well-worded email, I was curious enough to check out reviews in print and on video which were given in regard to claims made by Lauryn Herbert concerning the nature of the opportunity she was offering in her 'Turn-key' program Effortless Web-Cash Formula.

The question of proper ethics raised reasonably by skeptics was based on the absence of the usual 'Money-back guarantee' for the customer's outlay of $37.00. If there's a 'controversy' here, and let's face it, there is no such thing as bad publicity, it's a 'tempest in a teapot'. The creator does not skirt the issue; she addresses it right up front, claiming that the creation and ongoing hosting of a website for each customer is worth the price of admission, and more.

Nowadays, Internet Marketing, with its promises of financial freedom, has brought thousands, more likely hundreds of thousands, flocking to the call of easy money. The problem is seprating the 'wheat' from the 'chaff'. Which products represent a good investment, and which a waste of money? Here I will try to provide some basis for telling the difference. In a 'nutshell', it's this: product purveyors who stand by their merchandise and provide all possible assistance to users of the product, addressing all uncertainty and possible confusion on an ongoing basis demonstrate the proper mentality, creating a 'win/win' situation; the buyer does well, and so does the seller.

This is where EWCF does come across.

The design is remarkably simple, and the initial presentation so well crafted, that it provides a kind of 'Aha' moment, wherein it makes total sense. But cleverness is only an element-Not the key to this program. Since having joined, I have received continual and comprehensive online support in the form of consultation, additional free ad copy, and expert advice from sources from all over the web. To summarize, this is the type of program which can benefit not only those with the online savvy to exploit all of its potential, but those who've had absolutely No Experience, as well. Purchasers get a ready-made website, which includes an Opt-in squeeze page, and an informative Free ebook, which members can then offer to others. But the good news lies in the fact that subscribers don't have to concern themselves with all the attendant details of running an online business. The business is run for them!

Subscribers need only concern themselves with strategies for promoting their site. Meanwhile, all proceeds from subsequent website sales go to them, that is 100%. Needless to say, overall customer satisfaction with this product is quite high. Do the math. Do the research. Learn as you go, and profit at the same time. Click the link below:
